Sawgrass Players Club offers an exceptional array of recreational amenities designed to bring residents and families together while embracing Florida’s beautiful outdoor lifestyle. From swimming and sports to parks, nature trails, waterways and golf, there are countless ways to stay active, relax and enjoy the outdoors. The community also offers a variety of dining options and is home to three courses, each with a range of membership opportunities.
Players Pool
Enjoy the warm Florida sunshine and balmy breezes from the nearby Atlantic Ocean at Players Pool, located in The Coves. The pool area features a children’s wading pool, pavilion, restrooms, lounge chairs and picnic tables in the adjoining park. The pool generally opens at approximately 8 a.m. and closes at dusk.
Players Pool also serves as the setting for Food Truck Tuesday, held on the first Tuesday of each month. Residents can enjoy a rotating selection of cuisines from three food trucks, plus a dessert truck, offering something new to savor each month.
During the summer, the pool also hosts Sunday Sundaes & More each Sunday, featuring a different ice cream truck and a tempting selection of cool treats.
Players Park
Players Park is a popular gathering place for residents, families and children, offering a wide variety of opportunities for recreation, relaxation and community events. Amenities include a Tot Lot, pavilion, quarter-mile walking and jogging trail, fitness stations, concert stage, recreation field, picnic tables, arbor garden, shower tower and restrooms.
Throughout the year, Players Park hosts a variety of festivals and special events for residents and their guests, including Springfest, Flicks in the Field, musical concerts, holiday celebration and Winterfest.
Tot Lot
The Tot Lot offers a fun, family-friendly play area with equipment designed for children of different ages. Younger children can enjoy a shaded playset with a slide, baby swings and spring toys, while older children can explore a larger covered playset, monkey bars, swings, an atom spinner and other play equipment. A small pavilion provides a convenient spot for family picnics and gatherings.
Pavilion and Picnic Tables
The Players Park pavilion provides an inviting setting for outdoor birthday parties, family gatherings or a relaxing afternoon in the shade. Both covered and open-air picnic tables are available. Use of the pavilion and picnic tables is on a first-come, first-served basis during daylight hours, 365 days a year. Residents may reserve the pavilion by request and are required to sign a Waiver and Indemnification Agreement.
Recreation Field
The expansive recreation field provides ample space for family activities, organized sports and outdoor fun. Whether tossing a ball with the kids, enjoying a casual game or watching a weekend soccer match, there is plenty of room to play.
A quarter-mile walking and jogging path circles the field and features fitness stations along the route. Additional amenities include a soccer field, basketball court, beach volleyball court and sports wall.
Ball fields are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When others are waiting, play is limited to one and a half hours.
Lakes and Waterways
The community’s lakes and waterways offer even more opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Residents and their guests may canoe and fish from their property during daylight hours. For safety and environmental reasons, swimming is not permitted in the lakes and waterways. Gasoline- and diesel-powered boats are also prohibited.
Palmera Park
Nestled within Oakbridge, Palmera Park is a charming pocket park that offers a peaceful setting to relax, unwind and enjoy the outdoors. It provides another unique opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Sawgrass Players Club.
Nature
Nature is an integral part of the Sawgrass Players Club experience. The community’s lakes, waterways, walkways, mature trees, flowers and natural areas provide habitat for a diverse array of birds, fish and wildlife.
Residents exploring the community’s walkways may encounter blue herons, egrets, eagles, guinea hens, owls, raccoons, turtles, sea otters, deer, opossums, foxes, bob cats, squirrels and other wildlife. A variety of snakes also inhabit the area, along with the occasional Florida alligator or coyote.
TPC at Sawgrass
Sawgrass Players Club is home to TPC Sawgrass, one of the area’s premier golf destinations. The club features two championship courses open to the public: the Stadium Course, home of THE PLAYERS Championship and its iconic 17th hole, and Dye’s Valley Course. The Mediterranean-style, 77,000-square-foot clubhouse includes Nineteen, offering American and Continental cuisine, as well as banquet and meeting facilities and a world-class golf shop.

The Yards
The Yards brings a fresh, flexible approach to golf and recreation. As Northeast Florida’s first and only public 12-hole golf course, The Yards lets players choose their experience, with options to play 3, 6, 9 or all 12 holes.
Beyond golf, The Yards offers pickleball, tennis and a variety of events. The Patio Pavilion and The Yards Greenhouse provide distinctive venues for weddings, corporate events, intimate gatherings and other celebrations. The property is also home to Argyle restaurant.
