Come rock, jam and groove with Morelli & the Groove!
Players Park is the place to be on Friday, May 22, from 6–9 p.m. Join us for a fun-filled musical evening featuring Morelli & The Groove—a funky, high-energy band known for their rocking, jam-driven sound. Enjoy a lively mix of favorites from Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Paramore, Lettuce, Bill Withers, plus original songs and creative mash-ups.
We’ll have two food trucks on site, along with a wine, beer, and margarita bar to keep the good vibes flowing. Music kicks off at 7 p.m. Parking is limited, so plan to walk, bike or take your golf cart.
Spring Fling is days away!
Our annual family-friendly event is this Sunday, April 19, at Players Park from noon to 3 p.m. Enjoy the always-popular petting zoo, get creative with the Twist of Fun balloon artists, and prepare for the kids to get wet with an afternoon full of bubbly excitement from the Bubble Truck! We’ll also have a lineup of fun and friendly competitions throughout the afternoon, with prizes awarded to the winners.
Grab a meal from Mama’s Food, featuring Tex-Mex favorites like empanadas, or Rolling Fatty’s, serving burgers and more, and top it off with Millies’ Homemade Ice Cream for dessert. Remember, parking is limited. In case of rain, Spring Fling will be held on Sunday, April 26—same time, same place.

The Sawgrass Players Club annual membership meeting is at the Marriott’s Arbor Ballroom on Thursday, May 7, at 6 p.m. with sign-in beginning at 5:30. Your proxy, due May 1, is needed to establish a quorum. If you haven’t done so, please complete and mail it now. Lost your copy? Download it here.
AEDs installed at park and pool
Emergencies happen. When someone goes into cardiac arrest, prompt action is needed. To ensure rapid response, the Recreation Committee has installed automated external defibrillators (AED’s) by the rest rooms in Players Park and Players Pool. AEDs analyze a person’s heart rhythm during sudden cardiac arrest and deliver an electric shock (defibrillation) to restore a normal heartbeat. If a person collapses, is unresponsive and not breathing, call 911, get the AED, turn it on and follow the voice instructions. You may save a life.
