Look for a postcard in the mail
Where do you get your information? What do you read? How do you prefer to receive information? Soon, homeowners will receive a postcard in the mail with a link to a short survey. The survey will be open March 25 through April 25 and should take only a few minutes to complete. This is your opportunity to tell us how you want to receive information and what communication works best for you. Don’t miss this chance to make your voice heard!
Board to hold evening meeting this month
The March 26 board of directors meeting will be held at 5 p.m. in response to requests from homeowners who would like greater opportunity to participate. The board plans to hold evening meetings quarterly to make attendance easier for residents. As always, board meetings are open to homeowners. You may attend in person or via Zoom. Instructions for joining virtually will be included in the posted meeting agenda.
The Con Men are coming back!
Mark your calendar for Friday, March 27 when our popular music event returns to Players Park featuring our own Con Men. A longtime crowd favorite, the band promises a few surprises this year. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Music starts at 7 p.m. Come out and enjoy great music, good food, and the Wine & Beer Bar with friends and neighbors!
Crime Alert: Stay vigilant
St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO) is actively investigating several recent car thefts in Marsh Landing Country Club and other nearby gated communities. They note that there have been a rash of thefts in both Georgia and Florida.
In the most recent incident, entry from Marsh Landing’s North Gate was gained by tailgating behind a resident vehicle in the resident lane. The same vehicle was later recorded exiting closely behind the stolen vehicle at the South Gate. All three cars were Range Rovers, unlocked with keys inside. According to law enforcement, Range Rovers are in high demand on the black market and easy to resell or ship overseas.
As a reminder, always lock your car doors, never leave keys in your car and keep your garage door closed.
Spring Fling coming April 19
It may still be a month away, but you’ll want to mark your calendar now! Spring Fling will be held April 19 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Bring your kids and grandkids for an afternoon filled with fun activities. More details will be shared soon. Save the date and plan to join the celebration!
